My Quick & Easy Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

My Quick & Easy Breakfast Smoothie

Hi Reader,

You know that breakfast IS still the most important meal of the day. Running late, with no time to spare...grabbing “whatever” as you go out the door, or indulging with something from the Drive-Thru can lead to Diet Disaster.

Instead, I often suggest a breakfast smoothie. It's quick and easy to prepare, delicious and won’t leave you hungry an hour later!

Here's My Recipe for My Quick & Easy Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup frozen, sugar-free dark cherries or fruit of choice
  • 2/3 cup liquid. (I prefer unsweetened almond, or coconut milk)
  • 2 scoops protein powder. I use Terra’s Chocolate Whey.
  • 1 tbsp Healthy Fat (sugar free peanut butter is my choice) You could also use 1 tbsp of Irish butter, 1/2 an avocado, or 1 tbsp of flax seed oil instead. The healthy fat and protein will keep you satiated throughout the morning.
  • 1 tsp of Cocoa and a 1 tsp of Instant Coffee amp up the flavor. Cinnamon, cacao nibs or your favorite extract can also be added.

Directions:

Add all ingredients into your blender. Cover and slowly increase the speed for a delicious, frothy smoothie!
