Does This Story Sound Familiar?

Does This Story Sound Familiar?

I was about to be Mother of the Groom. It was a Destination Wedding in Costa Rica, way too hot for Double Spanx!

I knew if I wanted to look good in pictures I was going to have to go on another diet. Denial, Deprivation, Tiny Portions, Hours of Exercise.

I dreaded it all...

Luckily my Health Coach Training kicked in. I already knew the value of “Clean Eating”, Giving up Sugar wasn’t an issue. Walking and Yoga were part of my life. Still a diet was necessary. A new Diet Plan caught my eye, one that allowed me to set my own rules, within reason of course and it WORKED!

Along the way, it struck me, most Diets are created by Scientists and Doctors who’s thought process is really different from mine. Set procedure, set rules are part of how they think. My mind works differently. I start to ask, What If… and that has led to more then one diet disaster.

I’ve learned, a diet is about more then just food choices. It is also about how our mind works, how we like to do things… our Operating System. There are other factors of course.

So, I’d love to know which of these issues has thrown you off track. Hit reply to this email and let me know.

  1. Denial & Deprivation
  2. Stomach Growling Hunger
  3. Low Energy
  4. Strict Rules
  5. Lack of Planning

Look forward to hearing from you!
